We love cats, and take care of yours the way we’d want ours to be looked after.

All our cat boarding chalets are designed in the ‘penthouse’ style with an insulated, heated sleeping area leading to a ramp. The ramp takes your kitty to the lower play area, complete with scratching post and litter tray. The upper level has lots of bedding, including two super-soft blankets arranged into a nest to keep your furry friend extra-snug. Elderly or visually impaired cats have beds made up on the lower level, away from litter tray(s). We provide hot water bottles to keep very young or elderly cats comfortable.

The cattery is fully air conditioned and heated. We constantly monitor the temperatures in our chalets to make sure your cats are always cosy and comfortable.

We also provide toys to ensure an element of fun for the more playful pussycats!

Windermere Cattery is fully licensed and inspected by Nottingham City Council. We provide welfare standards to CIEH Guidelines 2018, which have been compiled by many pet welfare organisations to ensure best practice.

We operate a two door system where cats are housed to ensure maximum security. We wouldn’t want any little rascals wandering off!
